PC Service Source (PCSS) – A Service Logistics outsourcing company that specializes in parts distribution and depot repair of PC, network and communication products. Eureka Ventures purchased PC Service Source in 1994 and grew the Company from $20 million to revenues of $150 million in 1998.
ComputerCity – A $2 billion computer retailer, subsidiary of Tandy corporation, with 100 computer superstores in the US and Canada. In 1997 EV bought an equity stake of 40%. ComputerCity was sold to CompUSA in 1998. ($200MM)
Intellis – An internet software development company. Sold to ComputerCity in 1997.
TeKnowlogy Learning centers – A training company developing and certifying technology resources in operations and network management. EV acquired Teknowlogy in 1994 and grew it from $1MM to $30MM in revenue combining M&A and internal growth. Teknowlogy was sold to Knowledge Universe in 1997. ($20MM) |
